Staying in a hotel in the capital of Europe, Brussels
August 2nd, 2009 by hotelsantwerptoparisYou would like to party in Brussels? Then you should do like me and combine this with a stay of at least one night in a hotel in Brussels. Brussels, like many other Belgian cities has a very lively nightlife. Many entertainment venues are located throughout the city, but the center, namely the area around the Fair and the St-Géry square is especially known as the entertainment district. You will do very well to look for a hotel in Brussels in this neighborhood, if you don’t want to walk far after the party ended. More cultural entertainment venues can be found in Brussels in abundance. Important places are the Ancienne Belgique, the Munt, the Beursschouwburg and KVS. Since 2005, Brussels also has a casino.
During a weekend or longer in a hôtel à Bruxelles you can also enjoy delicious food. Brussels is a city that is very well equipped foodwise. Most tourists come to a hôtel à Bruxelles for the three classics: mussels, fries, and chocolate. Who wants something more has plenty of choice between the other Belgian specialties, such as: eel in green, meatballs in tomato sauce and so on. As a dessert, there are always the Brussels waffles (with icing).
My weekend in a hotel in Brussels was simply delicious! The Belgian capital really took me by surprise. Friday it was very rainy, but Saturday and Sunday were perfect! I will show you the photos, I got a couple very nice (panoramic) pictures drawn from the balcony in my hotels Brussels.
Next time I go to find the alleged original Brussels. Heard from a fellow guest in the Hotel Brüssel that I need to go see the Marolles, the city quarter at the foot of the imposing Palace of Justice. You will find among other things, the daily flea market on Place du Jeu de Balles. city trip Brussels is always incredibly versatile! See you next time!
